          UNIT GOAL:
          Students shall understand the role of fertilizers in
          agricultural production.

          UNIT OBJECTIVES:  Upon completion of this unit, the students will
          be able to:

          1. List the primary, secondary, and micronutrient materials.

          2. List a source for each of the primary elements (N,P,K).

          3. Select from a list the information that must be stamped on
             fertilizer bags according to law.

          4. Calculate the content of N-P-K in a fertilizer container.

          5. Identify three general methods for testing soil deficiency
             and demonstrate one.

          6. Demonstrate three common methods of fertilizer application.

          7. List three advantages each of organic and inorganic fertilizers.
